Vilgain Active Dry Yeast - gluten‑free vegan flavouring with B vitamins and parmesan cheese flavour
Deli yeast gives your food a subtly nutty to cheesy flavor and loads of micronutrients. It's made with yeast on a sugar‑rich substrate. The mixture is then dried and gently heated to 45 °C. This yeast can therefore not be used for leavening, only as a flavouring.
A plant‑based alternative to cheese
You can use it wherever you would normally reach for conventional cheese - the yeast is used to make vegan parmesan, in sauces, spreads, soups, salads, pasta, risotto, vegan cheeses, etc. In the form of flakes, it resembles grated cheese and is easily used to sprinkle on already prepared dishes, making this form popular not only among the vegan community.
