Hello, is there a reason for the change where the original Vilgain Magnesium had 125mg per capsule and now I read that the new one only has 75mg? Thank you.

The original product used buffered magnesium bisglycinate, which is a mixture of magnesium bisglycinate and magnesium oxide in a ratio of 80:20 - this mixture has a 20% magnesium content. Hi I would need info regarding the grammage in one capsule...why is it so low. Other sellers use the same quality of mustard absorption etc and the grammage is completely different. Thanks for the timely info. L.
Hi Lubomir, the amount of pure magnesium in 1 capsule is 75 mg, the total content of magnesium bisglycinate raw material in 1 capsule is 625 mg. Under a similar product name designation, one may come across products on the market that contain magnesium bisglycinate in combination with poorly absorbed magnesium oxide, which increases the proportion of pure magnesium in the capsule. This combination is sometimes also referred to as 'buffered magnesium bisglycinate'. In our product, we guarantee that 100% of the magnesium comes exclusively from chelated magnesium bisglycinate.
