Vilgain Chickpea‑lentil couscous BIO is a valuable, gluten‑free side dish full of complex carbohydrates and fibre. Unlike regular couscous, we make it with naturally gluten‑free ingredients - chickpea flour and red lentils. As a result, it boasts a higher vegetable protein content, fibre and a super ability to keep you fuller for longer.
Couscous is an excellent ingredient for people who are always in a rush or don't enjoy spending time in the kitchen. It's ready in 5 minutes and there's no need to cook. Cover it with hot water in a ratio of 1:1,5‑2 (couscous : water/boil) and let it stand covered.
You can use it as a side dish, make risotto, add it to salads or use it sweet as a base for a dip.

Ingredients
Chickpea flour* 50%, red lentil flour* 50%.
*from organic farming.
Allergens: May contain traces of mustard and soy.
Instructions for use
- Pour hot water over the couscous in a ratio of 1 part couscous to 1 part water.
- Cover and let stand for a few minutes until you reach the desired consistency.
- Then mix with a fork and season to taste.
