Vilgain Cold Brew is not just "cold coffee". It's a refreshing drink made from exclusive organic coffee, fine‑tuned to the last millilitre, that will become an essential part of your summer days. It has a cocoa‑fruity flavour profile with hints of blueberries and black tea. It is light and fresh in the mouth and its strength is similar to filter coffee.
Our cold brew is made with fair trade coffee, filtered spring water and a proven recipe. The quality of water is often forgotten by producers, yet it makes up the vast majority of any coffee. Because we use optimally treated water, you can enjoy the difference.
We cold roast our sustainably‑ground Organic Single Origin Arabica from Ethiopia for a full 16 hours. This allows the coffee's fruity and floral flavour profile to develop well. Then we filter it straight into our 200ml bottles and pasteurise it to make it last a long time without refrigeration (but it tastes best chilled). No sugar or milk, just coffee and water.
It's coffee = it contains caffeine. But the exact amount of caffeine is hard to determine because it depends on so many variables. On average, one bottle of cold brew can contain around 150 mg of caffeine.
Cold brew is a great drink for an instant refreshment and caffeine boost. You can enjoy it chilled from the bottle on its own or use it as a base for coffee drinks. How about a Cold Brew with a pink tonic and a pile of ice?
