Collagen is the most common protein in our bodies, in fact it makes up 30% of all proteins found in the human body. It is a natural component of bones, muscles, skin or even nails.
Collagen peptides are obtained by enzymatic cleavage (hydrolysis) of collagen, which improves absorption and availability to the human body many times over. This type of collagen is the target of a number of scientific studies investigating its effectiveness.
