Energy bars are packed with quickly digestible carbohydrates, making them an instant energy source. Besides energy, they also provide the body with vitamins, minerals, and fibre. Ideal for replenishing energy during intense or prolonged physical or mental exertion, they’re also an excellent snack for hiking or backpacking.
Their composition is similar to raw bars, which typically contain dried fruits or nuts and are not heat‑treated. Unlike protein bars, energy bars contain a lower amount of protein.
In addition to energy bars, energy drinks or concentrated energy gels can also help "recharge your batteries." Just be mindful of caffeine content in these products.
