Vilgain Organic Date Sugar - a fragrant sweetener made from Deglet Nour dates
There is no sugar like sugar. Date sugar boasts a lower content of simple sugars and even 11% fibre compared to white sugar.
Vilgain Organic Date Sugar is a flavourful alternative to regular white sugar that is suitable for making raw desserts, baking or even Sunday pancakes or waffles. We chose the Deglet Nour variety, which has a mild caramel‑date flavour. After harvesting, the dates are dried and ground to a fine and powdery consistency and date sugar is ready to go. No unnecessary extra chemistry.
