I love seafood and could eat mussels all day, so I was really looking forward to them. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. The mussels themselves had a nice texture and I liked their taste, but the marinade was a bit too strong for me. Since they are in extra virgin olive oil and apple cider vinegar, I naturally expected a tangy flavor, but I was hoping for something milder and fresher. The apple cider vinegar was a bit too pronounced for my taste and slightly overpowered the mussels themselves.
