Organic Yerba Maté (Ilex paraguariensis) 100%.

Suggested Use
Preparation in a teapot:
- Put 5 g of maté (2–3 teaspoons) into a teapot with a volume of 250 ml and pour in a small amount of cold water so that the leaves absorb the water and form a “thin mash.”
- This step ensures that the high temperature does not affect the taste and properties of the maté.
- Then bring 250 ml of water to a boil, let it cool down to 70–80°C, and pour it over the maté.
- Steep for 5 minutes, strain, and enjoy.
Preparation in a calabash:
- Fill the calabash up to 2/3 with maté.
- Cover the calabash with your palm, turn it horizontally, and shake gently so that the fine parts of the maté settle at the bottom and prevent the bombilla from clogging.
- Return the calabash to its original position so that the maté remains at an angle of approximately 45°.
- Insert the bombilla into the part where there is no maté.
- Pour warm water (50°C) over the maté and let it absorb completely.
- Pour warm water (70–80°C) into the empty space with the bombilla.
- The drink is now ready. Do not stir the drink anymore and drink through the bombilla.
- After drinking the beverage to the bottom, you can pour warm water (70–80°C) over the maté again and repeat this process. The first infusion is very strong.

- Store in a cool, dry place at 15–25 °C.
