Vilgain Red Onion Chutney - handmade with fresh ingredients, no preservatives

Vilgain Red Onion Chutney brings you the sweet and sour taste of caramelized red onions with a subtle hint of port wine and balsamic vinegar. Each jar is made with the utmost care in the processing of all ingredients, ensuring an authentic and unmistakable taste.

Maximum care in the processing of each ingredient

The onions are prepared over two days - the first day they are hand peeled, the second day they are boiled and sautéed for 7 hours. This meticulous process ensures a deep and rich flavour with a slightly caramel‑like hint. Our chutney is made completely free of preservatives and contains only quality ingredients, including extra virgin olive oil, which gives it a delicate texture.

A chutney that won't run out of your burger

Thanks to its thick texture, our chutney is the perfect filling for a burger or sandwich. Its caramelised flavour combined with port wine complements grilled and roasted meats, cheeses or vegetables.
