Vilgain Organic Couscous Chickpea and Red Lentil is a valuable, gluten‑free side dish full of complex carbohydrates and fibre. Unlike regular couscous, we make it with naturally gluten‑free ingredients - chickpea flour and red lentils. As a result, it boasts a higher vegetable protein content, fibre and a super ability to keep you fuller for longer.
Couscous is an excellent ingredient for people who are always in a rush or don't enjoy spending time in the kitchen. It's ready in 5 minutes and there's no need to cook. Cover it with hot water in a ratio of 1:1,5‑2 (couscous : water/boil) and let it stand covered.
You can use it as a side dish, make risotto, add it to salads or use it sweet as a base for a dip.
