Natural sweetener xylitol instead of sugar
Xylitol, also called birch sugar, is a substance of natural origin with no known negative side effects. It is commonly found in nature in fruits and vegetables such as raspberries, plums and maize. Compared to regular sugar, it has approximately 40% fewer calories but the same sweetness. Unlike some other sweeteners, it has no unpleasant aftertaste. In addition, consuming foods and drinks with xylitol instead of sugar helps to preserve the mineralisation of the teeth.
