Chia Seeds – chia seeds from Paraguay, mild neutral taste, source of protein, high fibre content

Vilgain Chia Seeds – the base for chia pudding with a high fibre content and other nutrients

Chia seeds are tiny seeds of the chia plant (Salvia hispanica L.), originally from Central and South America. Our seeds are grown in Paraguay, they are unroasted and free from unnecessary additives.

Delicate taste, crunchy texture

They are characterised by a delicate, almost neutral taste. Thanks to this, you can add them almost anywhere without affecting the original flavour of the dish. When soaked, they form a gel-like layer and thicken the liquid. This creates the perfect conditions for making chia pudding, overnight oats or smoothies. They are also suitable for thickening soups or sauces.

Source of protein & high fibre content

Chia is known for its high nutritional density. They are not only a source of plant-based protein, but also unsaturated fatty acids. Contains 38 g of fibre per 100 g of product.

Make your own chia pudding 😋

  1. Mix chia seeds with milk or a plant-based drink in a 1:4 ratio
  2. Let stand for 3–5 minutes, then stir, cover, and place in the fridge
  3. Let rest for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight
  4. Flavour your pudding with freeze-dried fruit, nuts, or chocolate.
  5. Stir again before serving.
