Strawberries and other fruits are subjected to deep freezing and then slowly dried in a vacuum, removing all water. This process gives the fruit its characteristic lightness while preserving its colour, aroma, flavour, and the vast majority of micronutrients.

Hello, in the 10/2024 dTest, strawberry Vilgain was found to contain one of the highest levels of pesticide residues (26 residues total) and therefore the product was rated very low. Could you comment on this? Pesticide residues are not regulated by law, will you still take any action? Thank you.
Hello, thank you for your message.
The test used does detect the presence of pesticides, but in minimal amounts that comply with strict European Union standards. This amount is completely safe, but this was not communicated in the test in a completely transparent way. It should also be mentioned that the strawberries tested have not been sold for some time.
For the last two months we have been buying freeze-dried strawberries from another supplier, which meet all the required standards.
You can expect a public statement on this situation in the near future.
