Organic Maize Flour

Vilgain Corn Flour BIO – Czech corn as the star of your favorite recipes 🌽

A simple staple that will definitely find its place in your kitchen. The package contains only 100% organic corn from the Czech Republic, which is gluten-free. It has a fine, naturally sweet flavor and you can use it in sweet as well as savoury recipes.

Fine texture with high fiber content 🌱

The corn kernels are carefully cleaned before milling, the germs are removed and then milled using steel rollers into a smooth flour. The result is a fine base that easily blends into doughs and gives dishes a naturally golden hue. In addition, 100 g contains 6,3 g of fiber.

From homemade tortillas to crispy coatings 🌮

Make homemade tortillas, use the flour for batters and coating or to thicken soups. You can also add it to gluten-free flour blends; at a ratio of 40–50%, it helps create a lighter and fluffier result with a naturally golden hue.

I bought it as an alternative to regular plain flour, I don't feel a significant difference in taste, but the consistency is strange, when mixed with water I recommend it more as an anti-stress element (it's like modelling sand, which will probably be appreciated by moms who don't want their kids to eat sand, or eternal stressers)

I adore this flour especially in Turkish cuisine.
