Organic Japanese Matcha – powder for the preparation of a drink rich in antioxidants, young leaves from the slopes of Japanese Shizuoka

Green tea from the slopes of Japanese
Shizuoka in organic quality

We offer you Japanese matcha from tea gardens in high quality from controlled agriculture. It has a natural, bright green colour, a milder taste and a range of benefits for the body. It is suitable for everyday drinking and as a first step into the world of Japanese matcha.

  • A micronutrient‑packed drink for everyday drinking

  • Organic matcha without pesticides or artificial fertilizers

  • Gentle production and grinding of leaves from the Honyama and Kawane regions of Shizuoka County

Maximum care in growing
and processing tea leaves 🌱

The tea plant is completely shaded before harvesting, which promotes chlorophyll production. The leaves are thinner, tastier and rich in active ingredients. A combo of spring and summer harvest is used, which has a more balanced and less astringent taste compared to ceremonial matcha.

  • 1. Growing in the shade on mountain slopes for better flavour

  • 2. Combination of spring (Ichibancha) and summer (Nibancha) harvest

  • 3. Drying and gentle grinding under water cooling for fine powder texture

Strong tea, lemonade, or matcha latte? 🍵

This type of matcha is ideal for modern ways of preparation - just pour 80°C water over it to preserve the antioxidants. It's great in cold drinks, lemonades or as a matcha latte. Japanese Matcha BIOis a versatile choice for all your matcha cravings, including drinks and baking.

Yummy, very good

I have tried many matchas. From the most expensive to the cheapest. I have to say that for drinking with milk, this one is absolutely perfect! I take 3g in the morning instead of coffee and I feel absolutely fresh until 2pm! And I have a 2,5-year-old son who keeps me busy. Coffee brought me nothing but extreme sweating, so I swapped it for matcha! Its taste seems absolutely identical to the white can from Vilgain, only the color is different—this one lacks that brightness, but otherwise it’s absolutely great! The green can from Vilgain is the best matcha of all I’ve had the chance to taste, including various ones from cafés or other brands costing over €50/50g. If I had extra money, I would buy only the green one, but I’m someone who drinks matcha twice a day 😀. But this one really tastes excellent, I’ve been buying it repeatedly for a long time 🙂.

Tastes great, nothing to complain about. :)

Great taste, bright green color, and it whisks up really well. I love it with tonic.
