Then Vilgain Fresh Roast Coffee, a selection of coffee freshly roasted in Brno, will be the right choice for you.

The place where the beans are grown influences the final taste of the coffee

Vilgain Fresh Roast Coffee, 100% Arabica, is a blend of California Estate beans from Brazil and El Salvador. The Brazilian beans are processed using the honey method and come from the Norte Pioneiro region. The beans from El Salvador come from the Hernandez family farm in the Quezaltepeque region. They are of the Bourbon variety processed using the honey method.

Roasting, the process by which the coffee acquires its final flavour

Roasting is the process by which coffee beans change their texture, and colour and acquire their final flavour. Roasting, therefore, requires a great deal of experience, knowledge and equipment. Our coffee is roasted by Roman Nejedlý in the local Brno roastery Fiftybeans with a long tradition. For roasting, a Loring S15 Falcon roaster is used, in which the heat is spread by hot air.

And what does fresh roast mean? The coffee is prepared in small batches, so it is always fresh. But remember that it must be brewed no earlier than 10 days from the date of roasting. This will prevent unwanted sour or bitter notes from being extracted into the final cup of espresso.

Dutch cocoa, dark chocolate and cocoa beans, this is their flavour profile

The resulting coffee tends to be thicker and sweeter, so don't expect any sour notes. Its flavour profile is close to that of Dutch cocoa, dark chocolate and coarsely ground cocoa beans.

Preparing a delicious homemade espresso

The coffee is roasted to give you the best espresso possible. Do you have an automatic or lever coffee machine at home? Then this coffee is for you. And if you don't have a coffee machine, don't despair. The coffee will taste great for any espresso‑like preparation: use a mocha pot or perhaps an aeropress.

The coffee is a dark roast, this should be mentioned. Otherwise, it is a good coffee even though it is not to my taste.

Good coffee :) but compared to other beans I don't see much difference

It's really not bad but something's wrong with it, probably bitterer or sweeter or sourer taste, to each his own :)... but really, hats off to you :)
