In small batches for maximum freshness

Vilgain whole wheat flour is the perfect base for baking sweet pastries, cakes or breads, but also makes a great thickener for soups and sauces. The flour is prepared separately for each batch, not ground into a stock, and this guarantees maximum freshness. On top of all this, you'll also get a fair portion of protein and fibre in your dishes.

Double the amount of fibre compared to conventional wheat flour

Compared to conventional wheat flour, wholemeal flour has double the amount of fibre, with 7 g of fibre per 100 g of product. How so? Because whole wheat grains are milled to produce it. It doesn't throw away the husk, which has fibre in it. This makes the colour of whole wheat flour slightly darker, making it ideal for cocoa desserts or pastries.

Suggested use
