Vilgain Pistachios Dry Roasted are pistachios in the shell from the USA and Iran, the world's two largest producers. Produced in small batches for maximum freshness. They are gently dry roasted with hot air without the use of oil. This allows them to retain their natural flavour and valuable nutrient content without unnecessarily increasing their calorific value.
Pistachios are a rich source of unsaturated fatty acids. Replacing saturated fats in the diet with unsaturated fats has been shown to lower cholesterol levels. They also have one of the highest antioxidant contents of all nuts.
Pistachio nuts are great on their own, but they can also be used in a variety of sweet and savory dishes. For example, you can add them to desserts, soups, sauces, meat or salads.
