Broth can be an exceptionally good base for soups, sauces, marinades and many other dishes. However, it takes a couple of hours to prepare such an honest broth and a bouillon cube is a poor substitute. Try our ready‑to‑use beef broth that tastes like it's just cooked. Made with organic, locally sourced ingredients, with a strong flavour and tons of micronutrients.

Broth made with only local, organic ingredients

77 % beef and veal bones from animals that are fed partly on grass and partly on grain, root vegetables, double concentrated tomato puree and herbs. That's it. No salt, flavour enhancers or preservatives in the ingredients. The beef and veal bones used and most of the vegetables come from local farms in Belgium where everything is artisanal.

Slow drawn and super strong

Vilgain Beef broth is first boiled for at least 48 hours and contains at least 1 kg of meat and bones per 1 litre of final broth (but don't look for meat chunks in the broth). This ensures not only a strong flavour and aroma, but also tons of nutritional benefits. Bones are a rich source of calcium and phosphorus, which you also need for healthy bones and joints. The broth also contains sodium, magnesium, potassium, sulfur and silicon, vitamins A and K2, omega‑3 and omega‑6 fatty acids, iron, zinc, selenium, boron and manganese.

Use beef broth as a base for soups (such as ramen), sauces, risottos, poke balls, or pour it over Chinese noodles. Just add broth instead of water and you're halfway done, plus you can do without using bouillon cubes full of artificial additives.

Recommendations for preparation

The broth is strong, honest. I just thought it was pasty. But that's my mistake.

"I'm gonna buy a Crock Pot and add it to the birria beef" I drank it, and I haven't bought the Crock Pot yet. But I'm definitely going to try adding it to birria beef someday.
