Vilgain Sprouted Cashew Butter BIO is an ultra‑fine hand‑processed butter made 100% from activated cashews. Maximum purity formula with no added refined sugar, salt or oils.
Activation ensures great taste and texture
In the manual activation process, the cashews are first soaked in fresh water for a few hours to start sprouting. They are then allowed to dry naturally and are carefully ground until they become butter‑like. Cashews processed in this way taste excellent and have a super creamy consistency. They are sweeter and less bitter than regular cashews.
During the activation process, enzymes are released to ensure better digestibility. Soaking cashews also helps to reduce the amount of certain anti‑nutrients in the almonds (e.g. phytic acid), which can lead to higher utilization of certain minerals.
Unroasted
Cashews processed at temperatures up to 42°C contain the maximum amount of vitamins and antioxidants, and all the healthy fats are preserved in the best usable form.
