Vilgain Organic Coffee lives up to being known for single origin quality, as we are able to pinpoint exactly where the coffee was grown even by which respected farmer. It’s grown in the Peru, Quillabamba region to be exact. Knowing the beans will not be mixed in different areas allows us to confidently determine what the taste profile of the coffee will be like.
A light level of roasting takes place in Italy, cutting back on some of the unpleasant bitterness. When taking your first sip, you should pick up sweet notes of honey, brown sugar or sugar cane, whilst being captivated by the aroma of nutmeg. A mild, acidic taste may creep up on you but it’s nothing to worry about - this is to keep the brew well‑balanced and is caused by the fine and light roasting. The aftertaste could only be described as a rich taste of delicious cocoa.
