Our cured meats are truly honest. The can contains only pure, lean meat preserved using hot air and high pressure, seasoned only with salt. The liquid in the in which the meat "floats" is the meat's own juices released during cooking. No substitutes, flavourings, thickeners or poor quality meat parts. The meat thus retains its natural flavour and contains no undesirable substances. The total proportion of meat in jar is at least 97 %.

Verified meat origin, or no cheap meat from the supermarket

All know that it is not only the purity of the ingredients that matters, but also the origin of the ingredients, their quality, and that's why we've also taken care with the choice of meat. The winner was turkey meat from Zelenka, a company that specialises in turkey breeding and processing.

Zelenka has been on the market for more than 20 years. On its farms, the employees take care of the turkeys from the day they hatch until they are slaughtered. The company prides itself on strict standards, daily veterinary care and the feed the turkeys are fed. The feed is sourced exclusively from South Moravia and is constantly checked for quality.

The meat itself is cooled to 0 - 4 °C immediately after slaughter and this temperature is then monitored throughout the operation. The processing conditions are stricter than those imposed by the legislation in force. For example, the meat is regularly laboratory‑tested in independent laboratories and the process is regularly supervised by state veterinarians.

Thanks to these aspects, the resulting meat is of a quality and taste absolutely incomparable to meat from large meat processing companies.

Everyone has the occasional day when they barely have time to eat, let alone eat something nutritious of nutritional value to cook. Vilgain R2E Turkey is designed for just that. You can have it just like that, cold, straight from the can with a piece of our whole wheat bread, or you can quickly heat it up in a pan, add a side dish and have it warm main course that's ready with almost no work and no dirty dishes. In both either way, your body gets a solid dose of quality animal protein - 20g of protein per 100g of product.
