I don't know what it is, but it doesn't taste like vanilla, even on a speed boat. Taste, smell, zero. I'm really disappointed. The price is right for the quality.

Hello Evi, thank you for the review. We can smell the vanilla aromatics more by taste than by smell and it works great in our products. And just as every type of coffee or chocolate smells different, it's the same with vanilla. For us, it works great together with so-called dry ingredients (cookies, cakes, cupcakes, homemade granola, tea and coffee mix, etc.). For so-called wet desserts (such as panna cotta) it is recommended to use vanilla paste, but these usually already contain flavourings, added sugar or various thickeners. So it will depend on what kind of dessert you have prepared and how much vanilla has been used ;-) Have a nice day!
