Vilgain Organic Ceylon Cinnamon – a valuable, sweet‑smelling variety from Madagascar full of antioxidants

Vilgain Organic Ceylon Cinnamon - one of the most valuable cinnamon varieties with intense aroma

Vilgain Ceylon Cinnamon BIO is basically the bark of the Ceylon Cinnamon tree. It is considered by the world's leading chefs to be the best cinnamon variety ever.

The bark of the cinnamon tree is peeled and left to dry. In the process, it spontaneously rolls into the familiar tubes, which are then ground into a fine powder. Cinnamon has a light brown colour and an intensely pleasant aroma. The taste is sweet and refreshing.

Its applications are wide‑ranging. The most common use is to season sweet dishes, baked goods, confectionery and Asian cuisine. It is also used to flavour chocolate or coffee drinks.

Are you planning another more practical packaging instead of this paper one? I've got several now, and so far I've never once managed to open it without ripping the plastic strip on one side, so the bag no longer seals.
I noticed the label mentions 55.4g of sugars per 100g, which seems very high for cinnamon. According to the USDA database, cinnamon has only 2.17g of sugars per 100g. Is this a mistake or calculated differently?
