Vilgain Ceylon Cinnamon BIO is basically the bark of the Ceylon Cinnamon tree. It is considered by the world's leading chefs to be the best cinnamon variety ever.
The bark of the cinnamon tree is peeled and left to dry. In the process, it spontaneously rolls into the familiar tubes, which are then ground into a fine powder. Cinnamon has a light brown colour and an intensely pleasant aroma. The taste is sweet and refreshing.
Its applications are wide‑ranging. The most common use is to season sweet dishes, baked goods, confectionery and Asian cuisine. It is also used to flavour chocolate or coffee drinks.
