The back of yellowfin tuna is extra juicy compared to other parts of the fish and has a rich and intense flavour. The fish contains no added oils, so you can also taste the subtle natural saltiness of the ocean from the fillets.

Among the most important nutrients contained in our tuna are omega-3 fatty acids, which have positive effects on cholesterol levels and normal cardiovascular function. It doesn't disappoint in its content of complete proteins, potassium or certain B vitamins either.
Sustainable fishing
Yellowfin tuna are caught using sustainable fishing methods, which include purse seines, nets or hook and line. This is also why our tuna holds MSC certification.
Manual processing
After the catch, the yellowfin tuna continue to La Rioja, Spain, and the best ones are processed using traditional techniques by a local family-run business with a rich history in the fish industry.
